So I offered my services to her, and day-by-day I´m helping her on making her suite, respecting her own taste and style.

The solution I gave her about the window, I share now with you: using from the suite shop the following items:

Then, depending on the size of the room, you can use 2, 3 or 4 objects. You can acually make a big window on a small size, it all depends on the effect you want to make.

First you apply the piece of heaven on the wall:

Then you apply the Ocean Water, and you can observe that the line of the horizon will be up to you.

Then the railing will do the trick!

You can also add some green to make a nice effect:

The personal touch is on you: you can choose your favourite curtains and apply on the sides… it makes even better if the curtains match the style you will use in your room. For instance, I used white curtains on Jane´s kitchen to match her cupboard.

I first used his idea on my own suite when I wasn´a superstar, to make my pool area:

Another thing that made Jane sad: not being a superstar, she would not be able to have a fridge on her kitchen. Case solved using two items of suiteshop:

The Red cupboard door by 5 sd is kept on the same position, all you have to do is enlarge a little bit. Then on the bottom it goes the other, turned upside down and enlarged.

There you have it! Jane is now the happy owner of a cute kitchen!

I have released, through my club on Stardoll Girls On Film, a contest called “Best Dressed Girls on Film”, and this contest will choose a girl each month who will star in the club scenery and will win a little gift to use in their room. In the end of this year we will have the big final, “Best Dressed Girl of 2010″. The winner will receive a Superstar gift code!

How to?

It´s very simple. To sign in you must be a member of the club Girls_on_film. Then you go to your room, style your doll and save in your album, under the title “Best Dressed girl of… *name of the month* (presentation in the album counts!).

Then go to the topic of the month´s contest and post the page you saved!

I will be responsible for choosing myself the winner each month! I must warn you all that my choice will be based in the fashion style and presentation made in album, the more creative you are, the better your chances! I will not choose anybody “just because it´s my friend”. Proof of that is that I choose for April “Tia Maria” and she is not even added on my friends list! So everyone has a chance to win!

Duran Duran was created by Nick Rhodes (keyboards)

and John Taylor (bass),

I became a huge fan of Duran duran when I saw them for the first time in Electric Barbarella music video…since then, I have collected all their albuns, a lot of photos and a lot of videos. Duran duran is definitely one of my fav bands in the whole world. They change a lot my life, and made a big impression on me.

Twentieth Century Fox has set Keanu Reeves to star in “The Day the Earth Stood Still,” its re-imagining of the 1951 Robert Wise-directed sci-fi classic.

Reeves committed over the weekend to play Klaatu, a humanoid alien who arrives on Earth accompanied by an indestructible, heavily armed robot and a warning to world leaders that their continued aggression will lead to annihilation by species watching from afar.

Erwin Stoff is producing, with Scott Derrickson (“The Exorcism of Emily Rose”) directing from a script by David Scarpa. Reeves’ commitment puts the picture on track for a late fall or early 2008 production start. Studio sees it as a tentpole.

The Klaatu role was originated by Michael Rennie. The 1951 film’s premise, a response to the rise of the Cold War after WWII, is being updated, and the film will use advances in visual effects.

It also returns “The Matrix” star to his strong suit in the sci-fi realm and puts him in back-to-back films for Fox. He just completed the David Ayer-directed “The Night Watchman,” for Fox Searchlight/Regency about police corruption based on a story by James Ellroy. Forest Whitaker, Chris Evans and Hugh Laurie also star.

…here I start (or re-start) this blog, with a huge difference: I planned to just delete it, Because I already have Cria de Camaleão & How Duran duran keep rocking my world, which are my two real blogs. But wordpress warned me that, if I delete this, I simply will lose the adress hika.wordpress.com and won´t be able to use it again….so a little idea ocurred me…

I love to blog. That´s a fact. And my other blogs have loyal readers: Cria de Camaleão is for my friends, family and all the people that know me and read portuguese…HDDKRMW (How Duran duran keep…) is for my friends and people who know me, but also are fans of Duran duran, and this one is in english, of course.

So where is the space for a name like Hika, so close to me to the point I don´t wanna lose it, but so useless because I have the nickname Lebonah which I adore and already have two blogs for it?

Simple. I looked up on my screen. And there was, the stardoll tab sign bliking up on my mozilla… so I though: “Why not?”

I love to blog. And now I have one more, for my friends at Stardoll.com.
